There is an initiative created to organize the regular XIIth Congress of the Belarusian Federation of Anarchists (FAB) that is planned to be carried out at the beginning of September. At the Congress it is proposed to regard the following issues:

1. FAB’s entry into the International of Anarchist Federations (IFA) where it has been invited for two years already (for details see iaf-ifa.org).

2. Propaganda of libertarian ideas in Belarusian society under the current social and political situation.

3. Presentation of anarchist and anti-authoritarian groups and initiatives, acting on the territory of Belarus, and possibilities of effective cooperation.

Within the limits of the Congress it is naturally possible to carry out other worshops depending on particular proposals. Of course, there will be a closing musical sabbath.

Update (07/09/2005):

At last the date of the Congress is fixed. As a result of some consultations it has been decided to carry out the Congress on September 25 (Sunday).

By the present moment the following workshops have been added:

- Esperanto - international cooperation on equal terms;

- Actions and tasks of Belarusian anarchists during the Belarusian presidential election campaing of 2006.
