On December 20, 2008 around midnight a group of anarchists attacked the police station of the Central district, Minsk. The entrance of the building and the nearby area were pelted with smoke pots. The smoke screen covered the whole territory of the station and the nearby road. Here are the words of one of the participants:

“Our comrade in Greece was murdered in cold blood. He was only 15. It doesn’t matter who committed it, all policemen are the same in all countries. Their function is to protect the stolen wealth and the privileges of the strong. And they won’t hesitate to apply any cruelty. With our action we pursued two aims – to show solidarity with our Greek comrades and with all victims of police terror, and also to make it clear for the cops that every murderous assault at anarchists or any social activists will be followed by radical actions in response. This time it was only the smoke pots. Greece, we are with you!”

After the action the anarchists coped to escape safely.
