All those arrested after September, 3 are detained anew every three days with regard to another case. In return friends and relatives of the detainees start the international solidarity campaigne.
Today 72 hours established by law ran out without filing accusations to the public activists Vladimir Volodin and Tatiana Seminischeva, detained in the forefront of the arrests in connection with the accident near the Russian Embassy in Minsk.
Vladimir Volodin was released but later detained again, this time in the matter of attack of the Okrestino temporary detention facility. Initially he was arrested on suspicion of complicity in the attack on the Belarusbank branch bank in May 2010. Only today his relatives managed to pass him a parcel. During the previous three days at the Okrestino it was refused to take anything fot the detainee.
Tatiana Seminischeva on the moment of the press-release writing (17:00) is at the interrogation. It is still unkown whether they will release her or act the same way as with the others – detaine for three more days but in the matter of another case.
It also became known today about the detention of Alexandr Bugaev, happened three days ago. So far there is no information why he was arrested on September 8. The only thing known is that he was formally “released” but was instantly detained in the matter of another case. It was also impossible to send clothes or food for Alexandr. The reasons for his arrest look obsucre: he was not involved into a public activism, just visited concerts of hard music.
There is no doubt the police and other “law-enforcement authorities” are not interested in search of the culprits in the matter of all the chargeable cases for those arrested since September 3, 2010. Behing the actions, showing how easy it is to manipulate law. lies an obvious attempt to put the heat on the social movements in the run-up to the elections. The similar happened before the elections of 2001 and 2006.
We announce the beginning of the international campaigne in support of the detainees and counteraction against further repressions against anarchist, antifascist and leftist movements in this country.
We demand an immedeate release of all ten detainees!
