Alexander Yaroshevich (journalist of 'PostMedia' agency) and Alena Dubovik were arrested this morning in their rented apartment. After the search in the flat, they were taken to the 'combating organized crime' department of the police.

Hanna Charnyshova was arrested today in her apartment, after the raid. According to the search warrant, she is suspected of throwing a smoke bomb onto the terrain of the General Office of the Armed Forces of Republic of Belarus on the 19th September 2009. Her computer has been confiscated.

Recently, Alexander and Hanna have been actively engaged in the campaign around the detained Minsk anarchists, keeping in touch with the lawyers, relatives and friends of the detainees as well as with the media. We believe that the new searches and detention is yet another attempt by the authorities to put pressure on activists and those who are trying not to leave the incidents without attention, who speak to the media, and disseminate information.
