Architect Anton Novikaw was arrested in Minsk on 27 October. What is known so far, is that he was detained for a three day term in the detention centre on Akrestsina street. Police suspects him in relation to an attack on an ATM this spring. Previously, Anton Novikaw has been summoned and interrogated twice by the city Police and once by the KGB in relation to the attack on the Russian Embassy and other episodes where anarchists involvement is suspected. It should be noted, that similarly to Babrujsk resident Paval Charnyshenka, who had been arrested in relation to the attack on the KGB office in Babrujsk on the night if 16-17 October, Novikaw is in no way connected to the anarchist movement, except for some contacts with music fans.
