February 1, 2012 is an important date on the calendars of independent film-makers. Until that time you can send your movies imbued with do-it-yourself spirit, punk aesthetics and social critics to participate in the competition program of the DIY Film Fest. In the 4th festival year the competition in honour of Sarah Jacobson, a crucial figure for the punk cinematography of the 90s, will take place for the 2nd time. The geography of the event will broaden as well: Warsaw, Minsk and Madrid are already confirmed. Maybe your city will become next? Moreover, this time we ask film theorists, researchers and critics not to stand aside. We hope that in 2012 our festival will become not only a space for the film screenings but also a place for hot discussions and interesting lectures. And there is more to come!
