The local Torun collective of IMC Poland proposes a "get-together" (informal meeting for people to get to know each other) especially for imc's in central/eastern europe: http://docs.indymedia.org/view/Local/ImcCEEurope

Of course, the meeting is open to people from other imc's or anyone else interested.

The idea is to try to have a regular meeting on the evening of the last Thursday every month - this should be easy to remember since it is one day before "Critical Mass" bicycle actions (last Friday every month).

In Torun, we will meet together as a collective in a place of a local activist group so that people here who usually do not use the internet much can participate. For this reason, it would be difficult to change the date (this month anyway).

Could people from e.g. IMC Hungary, IMC Belarus, IMC Romania, ... please say if they are likely to participate?

* getting to know each other, what are the important activist/socio/political situations and priorities in each place and what do we want to do in our local indymedia collective?

* maybe concrete proposals of working together on particular articles and translating/publishing them on other local imcs
