h2. Urgent call for support and direct action as wildest European
valley (Rospuda) goes under axe from 1st August!

Rare species face extinction (including wolves) as Polish
authorities declared *Rospuda Valley* to be destroyed for building an express
road despite an alternative route being available. For several years, ecological
organisations (Workshop for All Beings, Greenpeace) and environmental
scientists have been leading battles to save the valley.

backed up ecologists saying that the investment is unlawful. Now,
government is fiercely rushing to destroy it, as we fiercely
should stand up against it. You will yourself want to protect
this nature site if you see it, especially if corrupted
authorities are going to destroy it forever. Make your mind up
before the destruction; afterwards, it will be too late. 
There is a camp established by
Greenpeace and Workshop for All Beings. The camp is between the towns
Augustow and *Suwalki*, it's a field in *Gatne II village*; to get
there take a bus from the bus stop in the village Nowinka to Gatne II. It
will not be a holiday (chill out) camp, so take what you need to sleep, food
and energy to spend on action. Contact Adam if you get lost
