Dear friends, comrades and correspondents,
sorry for not being around for so long! Now, after long absence, we are finally preparing for a new issue of ABB. Here are some topics you might want to write on
***
CRISES OF CAPITALISM AS WELL IN EASTERN EUROPE? Is there any impact of the "financial crisis" in your region? Has anything happened that might be connected to that? Are people's reactions to that already visible? Did local anarchist groups published some interesting analyses or developed some specific forms of actions in connection with the crises? (we would like to ask as well our comrades in Latvia and Lithuania to send us the reports on recent riots in their regions and ask if they see these clashes as first warnings of upcoming wider confrontations?)

20 YEARS AFTER This is happening about 20 years after the collapse of the Eastern Block - do you see any connection here? Do Eastern European anarchists wish to take a voice on ABB-pages towards (awaited this year) celebrations of 20 years of bringing freedom to the region? In general, what changes did take place during those past 20 years -and how to evaluate them? (Well big question but maybe worth to answer exactly right now in time of the crises)

SITUATION IN RUSSIA With the newest murders in Russia - of Stanislav Markelov and Anastasia Barburova - the situation for social/political activists is seemingly getting even worse - how do you evaluate the situation now, what impact did the murders have on activists, what are their reactions, and what can/should/have-to be still done about it?

REVOLT IN GREECE and EASTERN EUROPEAN ANARCHIST MOVEMENTS The last months, there was a lot of things going on internationally, like the social uprising in Greece or the newest war in the Middle East. Have there been in your area any responses? Was revolt in Greece inspiring anyhow for your local movements, have anything happened locally which could be interpreted us inspired by revolt in Greece?

These are just some proposals; of course, anything else you might like to write about is just as welcome. Especially stuff going on in your immediate area!
Also, please let us know about changes of contacts and addresses for our Communities in Struggle section, as well as for distribution.
The deadline for #34 is: 28 February.
